Last month, The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) featured Safeguard and our new open-access collection of research articles on its website.

To increase the visibility and recognition of research outcomes on wild bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects, we have released an open-access collection in the Research Ideas and Outcomes (RIO) journal. The collection currently hosts 15 published papers from different journals, covering topics such as floral resource overlap between honeybees and wild pollinators and potential environmental co-benefits of pollinator conservation.

The article provides additional information about recent project publications, including a study on the Serbian wild bee fauna (Hymenoptera: Anthophila) that contributes to an update on the European distribution of wild bee species.
