Opportunity for early career conservation biologists: Register now for SCCS Europe 2024 in Hungary

The 9th Student Conference on Conservation Science, SCCS Europe, will take place at Lake Balaton, Hungary, between 10 and 14 September 2024, connecting Eastern and Western Europe in conservation biology. The event is organised by the HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research and the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (RCISD).

About the event
SCCS Europe provides a unique opportunity for young conservationists, students and early career researchers to present their own results, exchange ideas, and meet brilliant experts, who can offer valuable career guidance. The event is a chance to meet renowned plenary speakers, attend career-enriching trainings, workshops and field trips, and have fun at the largest lake in Central Europe, Lake Balaton, at a student-friendly low price.

Conference fee
The all-inclusive conference fee will be only 400 Euro, which includes conference registration, accommodation and catering (three meals per day) during the conference and also evening socials.
