The European Landowners’ Organization (ELO) and John Deere invite inventive, effective, and scalable projects that safeguard pollinators across Europe to apply for this year’s European Bee Award by 15 September 2025.
Initiated in 2014, the Bee Award is committed to finding common solutions for the benefit of biodiversity by rewarding projects protecting pollinators. For this year’s edition, the European Bee Award is focusing on technological innovations that help reduce the impact of agricultural practices on bees and other pollinators. Special attention will be given to solutions that minimise risks during critical phases such as crop protection and harvesting.
Prizes:
- Innovative technological solutions (€ 4,000 prize)
- Special mention of the jury (diploma of recognition)
Who can apply?
The European Bee Award is open to farmers, landowners, research institutes, academia, and private and public organisations who develop outstanding and innovative projects aiming to protect bees or other pollinators and helping to preserve biodiversity.
