The European Landowners’ Organization (ELO) is one of Safeguard’s project partners. ELO is committed to promoting a sustainable and prosperous countryside and to increasing awareness relating to environmental and agricultural issues. Engaging various stakeholders, ELO develops policy recommendations and programmes of action, organises interdisciplinary meetings gathering together key actors from the rural sector and policy makers at the local, regional, national and European level.

Safeguard was featured in the ELO's Activity Report for 2020. While the project has not started at the time being, this helped build interest around Safeguard and its objective to to reverse the losses of wild pollinators. You can read the full report here.

Moreover, Safeguard was also featured in ELO's CountrySide Magazine (November/December 2021 edition), which connect various aspects of agriculture, environment and rural businesses. You can check all editions of the Countryside Magazine and subscribe here.
